I’ve been teaching RE for 15 years , worked previously as a pastoral leader in a West London comp, then HoD at a Sixth Form college and Girls’ grammar near Birmingham. I have a perpetual dread of sticking too far to my comfort zone so recently moved solely to a teaching post at a girls comp with a very different provision model and am loving the challenge of rethinking practice while staying true to principles. I’ve long enjoyed chipping in to RE discussions on FB and Twitter and inspired by Andy Lewis’ call to action with #BlogSyncRE I’ve decided to put together something more coherent and less open to misinterpretation, whilst hopefully provoking discussion.
On dangerous grounds we should tread lightly, but we shouldn’t fear to go.
